Hi I’m Puru, I qualified from Barts and The London in 2008. I initially worked in community dentistry and entered general practice soon afterwards.
I have completed certificate courses in aesthetic dentistry and orthodontics, before joining Alton Dental in 2014. Since then I have been treating patients at our Anstey Road practice and have also been involved in the training of foundation dentists.
My main interests are in minimally invasive dentistry, aesthetic orthodontics and endodontics (root canal treatment). I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in endodontics from Kings College London, and accept referrals for root treatments within the practice. My overall aim is to help patients with their dental needs and goals, in a gentle and friendly environment.
Outside of dentistry I am a keen guitarist and have performed with various bands in the past.
